Make-up double header delays World Series October 13

Due to an upcoming make-up double-header with Longview Community College, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m., the baseball team had a “controlled scrimmage” on Oct. 13 instead of the Cavalier World Series. The guys were a little disappointed when rain forced them to take practice inside to the weight room. “We had a great afternoon scheduled…fortunately we are far enough along that this won’t effect us [negatively],” said Kent Shelley, head coach, baseball.
